INTRODUZIONE
Le rotture della cuffia dei rotatori interessano in maniera progressivamente crescente soggetti di età avanzata. Se l’80% dei pazienti oltre gli 80 anni presenta una rottura della cuffia dei rotatori, è anche vero che solo il 6% dei pazienti più giovani di 60 anni presentano la stessa patologia.
Con il progredire dell’età aumenta anche la dimensione della lesione oltre che l’infiltrazione grassa e la retrazione tendinea, aumentando anche le difficoltà di guarigione del tendine dopo reinserzione. È piuttosto raro riscontrare una rottura completa della cuffia dei rotatori in soggetti molto giovani. Descriviamo pertanto un caso clinico di una giovane

TRATTAMENTO
